BURLEIGH recruit Millie Boyle has shown she will be a wrecking ball for opposition South East Queensland women’s division one teams to fear after helping the defending premiers obliterate a powerless Toowoomba outfit.
The Bears piled on try after try on Saturday night in a 66-0 scoreline that would have been steeper had it not been for a number of missed conversions.
While the backs generally reaped the rewards out wide, coach Tahnee Norris was excited but what she saw in the middle third at Pizzey Park.
“Millie, she was a beast,” Norris smiled of the 20-year-old’s club debut.
