Bears will be looking to remain at the top of the Hastings Deering Colts ladder

The Bears will be looking to remain at the top of the Hastings Deering Colts ladder when they take on the Souths Logan Magpies this Sunday afternoon.
With 10 wins from 13 games the Burleigh Colts are on equal points with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls but sit on top of the ladder thanks to an outstanding for-and-against.
Since the Seagulls are so close, any slip up could cost them top spot as the race for the finals starts to heat up.
Last weekend they were too good for Ipswich, running out to an 18-0 lead after 25 minutes and eventually securing a comfortable 22-6 win.
Shallin Fuller crossed for a double inside the first six minutes while Cameron Brown and Reece Tapine also got on the scoreboard.
Coach Jamie Mahon has named an unchanged 17 to face a Magpies team low on confidence after three big losses in their most recent appearances.
The Burleigh Bears Hastings Deering Colts will take the field at 12.15pm on Sunday afternoon before the Intrust Super Cup at 2pm.
