Coming fresh from New Zealand could now end up proving to be advantageous for Roache this weekend, as the Bears prepare to take on the Warriors’ NSW Cup team in the NRL State Championship.
The curtain raiser match on NRL and NRLW grand final day, Roache said him and some former Warriors teammates had been hoping for this outcome all year.
And, against all the odds, it will eventuate in their dream showdown this Sunday at Sydney’s Accor Stadium. Full story is on our Facebook page.
