Burleigh Bears Talent Development Program
We are excited to announce that the 2026 Burleigh Bears Talent Development Program will be kicking off in May and will run over five sessions, which includes physical development, mental development and on-field skills/team sessions, for boys & girls aged u13-u15.
The Talent Development Program, is a new platform for our pathways system at the Bears and will be taking over from the RISE Program. This new initiative gives players & coaches from across the whole of the Gold Coast Region a great opportunity to develop their skillsets and better prepare them for future aspirations, when moving through our pathways system.
Some key differences for the new program includes – cheaper cost for players, new training apparel, a more condensed time frame over 2 months, carnival earlier in the year and less drills with more game-based activities/team time.
