Congratulations to Burleigh Bears Life Member Bill Ross on receiving a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his incredible service to veterans, their families, and the wider community. Bill has dedicated over 30 years as an honorary solicitor to Gold Coast Legacy and the Surfers Paradise RSL.
A Bear through and through, Bill’s association with our club dates back to the 1970s when he played in a premiership-winning U19 team. He has served as the Clubs treasurer since 1998 — a remarkable legacy that continues today. Well done, Bill!
